FILM: "A Village Called Versailles" now available... →
This documentary looks at a New Orleans neighborhood called Versailles, where a community of Vietnamese Americans, mostly oriented to fishing, overcome obstacles to rebuild after Hurricane Katrina, only to have their homes threatened by a new government-imposed toxic landfill. The film has recently been named one of the 15 Notable Videos for Adults in 2011 by the American Library Association.
